I do not quite understand either. In the answer they use the equation ka*kb=kw. But my question is why we can seem ka as the concentration of H3O+.

Partial pressure when calculating K
If we want to use partial pressure to calculate equilibrium constant, shell we need to use PV=NRT this equation in order to change partial pressure to the concentration( N/V)?

What actually work in the buffer
The buffer solution is composed by the salt and weak acid/base. Meanwhile the weak acid/base can also react with water. So when we put in the strong acid/base, which kind of things really react with the strong acid/base to keep the pH value?

resonance and hybridization
Is there any relationship between resonance and hybridization? They seem quit similar because they both talks about the electrons change their position to get a stable state.

Re: problem g13 help
first step:find out the number of mole
second step: calculate the concentration of the new solution
third step: use the new concentration multiply the 100ml

frequency of electromagnetic field radiation and extent of change in the electrical field
Hey guys, I cannot understand that is there any relationship between frequency of electromagnetic field radiation and extent of change in the electrical field. Is there any body can explain that, and it would be perfect to post the definition of the extent of the change in the electrical field
