Re: 12.21

I do not quite understand either. In the answer they use the equation ka*kb=kw. But my question is why we can seem ka as the concentration of H3O+.

Partial pressure when calculating K

If we want to use partial pressure to calculate equilibrium constant, shell we need to use PV=NRT this equation in order to change partial pressure to the concentration( N/V)?

What actually work in the buffer

The buffer solution is composed by the salt and weak acid/base. Meanwhile the weak acid/base can also react with water. So when we put in the strong acid/base, which kind of things really react with the strong acid/base to keep the pH value?

resonance and hybridization

Is there any relationship between resonance and hybridization? They seem quit similar because they both talks about the electrons change their position to get a stable state.

T-sh aped

When I checked the answer after I did the homework, I found there is a world "T-sh aped" wrote in the answer book. Is there anybody known what is that mean?
And why the shape of ICl3 is that shape?

quantum number and electron number

When I did the homework, I found that I don't know how to use the quantum number to get the electron number, especially the question does not give whole 4 number. Is there anyone knows how to do?

wave function and orbitals

hey guys, is there anyone knows what is the relationship between the wave function and atomic orbital. Is the Greek letter ψ just used to illustrate the quantum number?

Re: problem g13 help

In my opinion you can use 3L to find out new concentration of the solution.

Re: problem g13 help

first step:find out the number of mole
second step: calculate the concentration of the new solution
third step: use the new concentration multiply the 100ml

frequency of electromagnetic field radiation and extent of change in the electrical field

Hey guys, I cannot understand that is there any relationship between frequency of electromagnetic field radiation and extent of change in the electrical field. Is there any body can explain that, and it would be perfect to post the definition of the extent of the change in the electrical field
