I was wondering this too but I know for homework problem 11.51 x is negligible for the reactants because their equilibrium concentration (when calculated with proper sigfigs) rounds off to be the same as their initial concentration.

I was wondering the same thing, but on past tests I just made sure to put around 3 or 4 numbers after the decimal and I didn't get marked off. Hope this helps!

Yes when drawing the Aufbau diagrams you follow the same order as the electron configuration. So the 4s would be higher than the 3d.

Formal charge refers to each atom specifically but when you add up all the formal charges of the atoms in the molecule you get the overall charge of the molecule.

To be safe I would put velocity in m/s. However, my TA did an example in discussion where he left velocity in km/s and mass in g and the answer still turned out correct because the units correctly canceled with one another.

Another mnemonic that people use to memorize which elements are diatomic molecules is HOFBrINCl for hydrogen, oxygen, fluorine, bromine, iodine, nitrogen, and chlorine. It seems random but if you say it out loud it's easy to remember that way.
