Does anyone understand how to figure out if a reaction is shifting towards the reactants or products? I'm referring to number 11.77 which states: predict whether the equilibria will shift towards products or reactants when the temperature is increased (a) N2O4(g) <--> 2NO2 (g), delta H= +57 kj.

Yes there is an error in the solutions manual and Dr.Lavelle has posted the correction on his website. The answer is -2.7 kj/mol.

Just to clarify, does it not matter where we specifically draw the dots on our Lewis structure because of resonance, or does resonance just have to do with bonds that are found in different locations? Thank you!
