Molarity is the number of moles of solutes per liter of solution, whereas molality is the number of moles of solute per kilogram of solvent. Molarity's SI unit is mol/liter and molality's SI unit is mol/kg. Hope that answered the questions above.

Question 15 asks : The molar mass of the metal hydroxide M(OH)2 is 74.10 g. mol. What is the molar mass of the sulfide of this metal?

Can anyone explain what a sulfide is exactly? Or what it refers to in this compound?
