Accuracy is how close you are to the actual value, and precision is how close the values are to each other. They can be precise but not accurate.

When a question asks you to find the number of formula units, you use avogadro's number and solve the problem the same way you would if it had asked for the number of atoms, so are formula units and atoms basically the same?

The significant figures for the given value in the original question determine the number of significant figures that you should have in your answer, however hold off on rounding until the very end to be more accurate.
