steam at 100 C has lots more energy than water at 100 c since it requires more energy to have the phase change from liquid to gas

explanation of q
so in the book q=C(deltaT), on the equations given for the tests, there is an equation that gives q=nC(deltaT). How do you get the n inserted? the only equation that I can come up with is q=n(Cmolar)(deltaT) with an n value.

The answer is supposed to be in an energy unit, it's just a conversion to get the answer in Joules and cancel out any unnessasary units

How are you able to tell which order to put the atoms in when writing out a chemical equation. An example would be sucrose with a C12H22O11, why would it not be H22O11C12. What dictates the order the atoms go in for this molecule and all the others?
