The difference would be that rate law relates to the rates of the concentrations while the initial rate is dependent on initial concentrations. So you could also look at the information they give you.

I believe he meant an enzyme catalyzed reaction. The rate is unaffected by the amount of the reactant present so the enzyme will remain unaffected. No impact on rate law so zero order.

Kinetics is about the rate at which things react (quickly, slowly) while thermodynamics is about stability in different states. One focuses on movement and change while the other on stability. It may also be noted they have different quantities. Free energy vs activation energy.

Enthalpy (H)- measure of how much energy is released or absorbed during a chemical reaction.
Entropy (S) - measure of disorder or randomness in the system
Gibbs free energy- amount of energy left over after a chemical reaction has happened.

Yes, the delta H is equivalent to the enthalpy. You get the exact number using hess's law.

I believe It would be caused by the levels of electric charge. lone pairs energy differs from bonded pairs which are more stable. Lone pairs have more mobility as well so their repulsion is stronger.

Formal charge has to be zero because that means that the element is at its most stable point. Electrons tend to organize themselves to be in the most stable state they can so naturally a structure with all zero formal charges will grant them this.
