yes! a double bond contains 1 sigma and 1 pi bond while a triple bond contains 1 sigma and 2 pi bonds so just add those up!!

count the number of electron densities then use "spppdd" and add one letter for each density. Ex. 1 region=s , 4 regions=sp^3, 5 regions=sp^3d

Bc the molecular shape of a square planer is octahedral with 90 degree angles then I believe thats why it should as well be 90 degrees

I would stick to nothing less than 10^-15 because gamma rays= 10^-12 so he mentioned 10^-15 is safer than 10^-18

I think as long as we derive the answer we'll be fine but I'd use the one you're most comfortable with and for like tests just show your work regardless of the method
