Yes, if you're asked to find the total enthalpy change you can add/subtract enthalpy values from multiple reactions

There's a video by Mr.Causey called Naming compounds in Chemistry and he goes over roots and has cheat sheets you can use to remember what he teaches in the videos. It's old but it gets the job done.
