Since these numbers reference atomic energy level and cant be any non-integer I don't think they effect sig figs. That being said I would give the exact value.

I think the negative sign is to reference the energy lost when changing atomic level.

Speed would be the same as velocity. Since the De Broglie equation is wavelength=Planck's constant/momentum and we know momentum is mass times velocity you can rearrange the equation to find velocity.

Try to think about it like a ladder where the size between steps gets closer the higher you go. If N1 is the ground and N2 is the first ladder step, N1 to N2 is the biggest individual step size. Correct me if I'm wrong, but because of the incorrect model of the atom the electrons were believed to be inside the nucleus. Therefore, the uncertainty of the electrons velocity would be limited to the diameter of the atom because the electrons could move about.

I believe it is just preference since they mean the same thing, however if the question has certain units it is safer to just use those.

If by human eye you mean the wavelengths of light visible to the human eye (500 nm) then I would say no, it seems like a factoid they would give you when asking the problem.

I like to write out the amount of each element on each side of the equation to avoid simple memory mistakes. This is also helpful when balancing the equation itself because you can constantly refer back to it and make sure you are making correct calculations.

Will we ever be required to calculate how much of the theoretical yield was lost in the beakers, amount of reactants unreacted, etc.? (i.e. 4.5% yield lost in beakers and 3% of reactant remaining the same.)

It's also important to understand that Atomic mass is "unitless", while molar mass is grams/mol.
