Re: pH formula
PKa = -logKa was also mentioned as well, but pretty sure that won't be on the final because that's 14B material?

Yes, it's interchangeable! In the review session today for the #3 on the practice exam we used "bent" and "angular" interchangeably.

Q: What do you do with a sick chemist?
A: If you can't helium and you can't curium, then you may as well barium.

Re: Acid Rain
I thought this was pretty interesting so I looked into it a bit:
CO2 is the biggest factor in the acidity of water. In the dissolved state in water CO2 + H2O <=> H2CO3. So as CO2 levels increase around Earth and H2CO3 increases, pH levels decrease.
Hope this answers your question!

Re: Helpful Chart
We made a similar chart in discussion too. I want to point out that I believe our TA mentioned something about the angles being less than 109.5 in some cases, I'm not exactly sure why or in what instances, but I think he mentioned lone pairs. I also think Lavelle said that we don't have to know the...

Re: Planck's constant [ENDORSED]
The Planck's constant relates energy in a photon of electromagnetic radiation to the frequency of that radiation. The constant is approximately 6.626176 x 10^-34 J/s and can also be shown as "h" in h=E/v.
