Yes, we do see that elements in same groups as Cr and Cu follow that same rule, or at least for n=5 level. I don't think so, I am pretty sure we just stick to the material covered in class and the problems given in the homework. The history and experiments behind the material are in the book just if we wanted to know how each thing was figured out.

You can decide which equation to use depending on what you are working with. If it is something with mass then you can use the DeBrogile equation, but as particles of light have no mass you cannot use that equation. So for light you would you the c=(wavelength)(frequency). Hope this helps!

Avagadros number can be used to represent the number of molecules, atoms, and formula units. It is just the number we use to find out how much of one of those three is in what we are looking at.

I am pretty sure if it is a combustion problem you just assume whatever % is left is the oxygen, but for any other problem I believe it should add up to 100.

Avagadros number is used to find the amount of blank in blank. It can be applied to the number of atoms in an element, the number of molecules in a compound, and even the amount of formula units in an ionic compound.

Hello!
So the placement matters when you start to have more than one element in the compound, so for H20 for example. This means there are 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen where if it was 2HO then it would be 2 hydrogen and 2 oxygen atoms. Hope that helps!
