It just depends on which bond it is because the strongest bond is ion-ion, hydrogen bond, ion-dipole, dipole-dipole, dipole-induced dipole, and London Dispersion Forces which is the weakest bond. This is just an order from strongest to weakest which you can just memorize.

The given information should guide you through which equation to use. For example, if given the velocity then you can use (h/mv)=lambda since you already know the mass of the electron.

You still do quantum world homework problems because we haven't even started going over the Chemical Principles. You could try doing them to get ahead but most likely we will be doing that section for two weeks as well.

You don't have to put units throughout your work as long as you have the correct units at the end, but including the units can help you if a TA is correcting your work then you can get partial credit if you didn't have the correct units at the end.

We do not get partial credit for our homework problems but if you want to check your answers the answers are in the solution manual and some questions even have the work for it.
