Why is Specific Heat Capacity an extensive property if it pertains to that individual reaction? Meanwhile heat capacity is an intensive property even though it constantly changes with matter?

For example on problem 49 on edition 6, each step has it's own molecularity and order. Step 1 is just taking the reactants HBr and NO2 and multiplying them. The difference between the two is that a catalyst is there to begin with and does not get used up. Meanwhile the Intermediate gets formed between the steps of the reaction.

When finding seconds for problem 27 in edition 6 it was just finding 1/2^n. Does this change when it is no longer first order? For example in problem 35 edition 6 the same method no longer works? Is it because it is second order?

They are written differently with zero order having moles first and second order having Liters first. Therefore, do they have different units so they must be written in this order or do they have the same regardless of the order?

In the third question of the sixth edition book, it had three parts one asks for the reaction rate and the other two asks for the rate of formation. What is the difference between these two because the book does not really give an equation for the reaction rate just for the rate of formation.

For part C what makes the equation non-spontaneous. Does the fact that it only have an anode make it non spontaneous or do we need to solve for deltaG to prove it? However if it is the latter, how do we go about finding the deltaG without the cathode?

Just to clarify, when balancing an equation one must add H+ or water but never put coefficients in front of the oxidizing/reducing compound. OR can we do both?

For problem 9.3 the formula for change in temperature is needed but how are we suppose to find Heat Capacity when the number of moles are not given? Without the moles the formula for solving C is not possible.
