The same would also go if you increased the concentration of products, the system will favor the opposite direction, the backwards reaction.

Also, whenever you see that volume isn't constant, but you account for it in another "delta S =" equation, you can still us Cv.

In the cell diagram with no double lines to indicate a salt bridge, how would you distinguish between the anode and the cathode? Or is it still generally accepted that the left side is the anode and the right side is the cathode?

Wouldn't you be balancing oxygen and hydrogen to figure out the overall charge and then balance the charges by adding electrons?

You can calculate the standard reaction enthalpy by using the standard enthalpy of formation of all products and subtract the standard enthalpy of formation of all reactants.

The K value determines whether the reaction favors either the reactants or the products. Thermodynamics determines if a reaction is spontaneous or not.
