calculating equilibrium shouldn't be on the final. However, you should know the conceptually know and understand it.

The higher the electronegativity, the smaller the atomic radius. This is due to the electrons being closer to the nucleus, thus causing the atomic radius to be higher.

Sigma and Pi bonds don't affect the structure. However, the lone pairs and amount of bonds do.

I usually write down the elements and the amount of atoms.Then I see which one has the fewest amount of atoms and start balancing them.

This means that the element does not have the same amount of neutrons in the nucleus but does have the same number of protons. This causes the molar mass of an element to vary because the molar mass depends on the sum of the neutrons (which vary) and the protons.

The Law of conservation of Mass means that the mass of an equation can not be created or destroyed. Therefore, the mass in the reactants (left side) should be the same as the mass in the products (right side).
