Everytime you post something, whether it is a reply or your own post, the system gives you a point. Your TA will not check what you are posting, it does it automatically.

For me, I like to take hand written notes. Another thing that works for me is to use different colored pens to label certain things.

What is helpful to me is after a lecture, if I don't understand, I watch videos that explain each steps. So far it was been helpful, and it helps me understand how to solve questions on the homework.
