You will not need to solve integrations. Just know what equations you get from the integrations. Those are applicable to different questions and the circumstances

Steam at 100 degrees gives off a lot more heat, thus burns more. There is a chart in the textbook that explains it much better

I believe for the purposes of this class the spread of the charges doesn't quite matter. I do not recall coming across a problem where the two possibilities have the same formal charge.

I believe he was reffering to measurable wavelike properties. If the calculated wavelength could be experimentally seen in a lab.
