I think the only case you would multiply it by something is when you want to flip the reaction so you would multiply the cell potential by negative 1.

so the overall rate law is dependent on its slowest step, so it is always going to be the determinate in the overall rate. To help remember this, I relate this to the quote "you are only as strong as your weakest link" meaning the reaction is only as fast as its slowest step.

As long as you understand that collision is necessary for reactions to continue, molecules need to break apart and form and with and increase in temperature this will happen more I think you should be okay.

depending on if the reaction is endo or exothermic, it will change the way the reaction proceeds and which direction is most favorable.

The catalyst is used up first then later recreated while an intermediate is first created/produced then used up and not in the final product and this is how you would tell the difference I think.

I think it would matter only in understanding what is happening to the reactant, it would be steeping into the catalyst instead of the catalyst taking in the reactant? I am not sure though

An intermediate is part of the elementary steps of a rxn, meaning it is part of the reactions of a part of the reaction then cancelled/used up in the following step and is not seen in the final overall reaction

the way I think of this, just to be quick is the higher the temp. the more collisions within the reaction meaning it will react at a faster rate. so the statement is true in this context

I am not exactly sure how the repulsion would impact the bond length, for general understanding though the electrons are negatively charged therefore need to be as far away from each other and if it is a lone pair they have a stronger repulsion changing the shape of the molecule.

I believe that because the steric number is four and since there are two lone pairs then the shape is angular but I still am slightly confused.

My TA basically went over a lot of what is covered in chapter one, stating that that is what the test will be on mainly. which was concepts of wavelength, frequency, energy, the photoelectric effect, and quantum numbers.
