the more stable the anion on its own, the more likely the acid is to be strong because it is more likely to dissociate in water

stronger bonds between atoms mean it is more difficult for that molecule to dissociate fully (which is the definition of a strong acid)

you can use de Broglie for something other than an electron (its anything that has mass), but i think were mostly expected to use it for electrons. im pretty sure the problem would clearly state the mass of another particle if they expected us to do that

"Out of acetic acid and formic acid, formic acid is considered stronger because the CH3 in acetic acid is electron donating. The CH3 actually contributes electron density towards the O-H bond, making it harder to remove the H, and making acetic acid a weaker acid than formic acid."

I don't think you need to find the exact pH, I think the question is more about analyzing whether or not these salts would dissolve in water and make the solution acidic (pH<7) or basic (pH>7). You'd have to analyze how the dissociated salt would interact with water and whether or not it would creat...

I don't want to be that person but what does dimensional analysis mean? Dimensional analysis is the process for solving problems where you multiply out the needed ratios (mole/mole, grams/mole, grams/L) and cancel out the units in order to get the correct answer. You know which ratios you need depe...

I also always start by balancing anything that is not carbon, oxygen, or hydrogen. In most equations theres is a good chance youll have some form of a hydrocarbon or oxygen or water, so by balancing other elements first you can then remedy the unbalanced elements easily with O2, H2O, etc.
