AX3E2 should be a T-shape instead of a linear, because it has other two lone pairs to push the other three bond away

Re: the equation of energy level

There is a negative sign present since you're decreasing energy levels to help excite an electron to be released. The electron is losing energy, so you wouldn't have a positive energy amount calculated if the electron energy is being lost. However, it's important to note that the equation mentioned...

Re: Spectral Lines and Energy Levels

If the energy level has the widest gap or interval, this is your mean i think, it should transfer for longer distance, and if it has long wavelength, it will have smaller frequency. The smaller the frequency it has, the lower energy it will take.

Re: Calculating Velocity

It depends on different condition, like if you need to calculate the velocity, and you have time and distance, you can use the most common equation:v=s/t, and if you have the momentum and mass of a subject, and you need to calculate the velocity, you can use the equation you have mentioned.

Comparing with the correct answer and your answer, the goal of this question is to calculate amount of the substance in unit mol, instead of the number of the particle.
