I never wrote out state symbols in the past, but I realized knowing what state it is was very useful when solving certain problems. Though it is not always necessary, I think it would be useful to write them out so you can be used to what state symbols is written with certain molecule or compound!

If you are well prepared for the topics covered in Fundamentals, I think you should be able to take the quiz with not much trouble. The quiz next week only covers fundamentals and not the quantum topic we started in class today.

At first I wasn't sure if I had my final answer when I got the percentages of each element, but they are they final answer. When we add molar masses of elements to get the total matter weight of compounds, should I use the entire number that the periodic table gives? or should I round certain numbers?

Does anyone know if the homework is graded on correctness? If the work is partially wrong or if the answer is incorrect, do we receive a lower grade for the homework that week?
