The pKA as to be either lower (more acidic) than pH6, or higher (more basic) than pH6. Since 4.22 is less than 6, it is more acidic, meaning it is more positive.

You should definantly draw the resonance structures if asked to do so. If not, you should be able to just draw the most stable Lewis structure for the compound.

Is it possible for the TAs in the step-up program to use past exams to help prepare us for any upcoming tests? I also want to know if there is anyway we can access test #1 that has been given out previous quarters in Dr. Lavelle's class, so we can use them to prepare for our upcoming test next week.

Personally, I think it is a good idea to review the online modules first, then attend lecture so you have a basic understanding of what is going to be taught.
