Re: Calculations

I think that it is important to keep the significant figures in mind because your answer would be more accurate when you follow the sig fig rules.

Re: Memorize electromagnetic spectrum for midterm?

I agree with the above posts. It is important to know the general ones because we will be using those constantly while solving problems in class.

Re: Midterm

Ive heard that the midterm is around 20 questions. I am not sure how true that is given that there are only 50 minutes.

I had a similar question as well. I too like to read the questions aloud. Does anyone know if we can be muted for the duration of the exam?

Also, just for some helpful Information, the homework is the tab on CCLE and it will automatically direct you to Sapling where you put in your access code.

I dont think you need to know them for the exam. But just understanding how those laws relate to the content can be helpful to understanding larger contexts.

It can also depend on your TA. But, I believe you will be okay with using your cell phone as a web cam.

Sampling gives us unlimited attempts. As long as you complete it you are good. you aren't graded on the number of attempts, just completing it and getting them right eventually. Hope this helps !

Re: Textbook

You can purchase sapling from the bruin store in person if you still are unable to locate it online. Once you have the sapling code, then you can just click on the homework in week 1 and it should direct you to inputting a sapling code to access the course.
