I was wondering what the recommended pathway is for taking the chem series, specifically the labs. Is it better to take the 14BL and CL after finishing the series or taking BL after B and CL after C?

Yea, I too was really surprised by the amount of content-application we had to use instead of problems we had worked with in class. Ultimately, there is no better way to studying for these problems than being really solid with the fundamentals of the section, which comes from doing a ton of practice...

One trick I used last quarter to find the worksheets TAs and UAs post on Chem Community is to simply search “download” or “worksheet.” Chemistry Community will show you worksheets that people post.

I think your grade is determined by how many posts you make overall in the quarter. They say weekly but last quarter I forgot to post one week and I still got full credit as well. As long as you post 50 times this quarter, I think you should be good!

Most upper class men have told me that it is best to do Chem 14BL after taking Chem 14B. If I were you, I would wait until after 14B to take the lab just to stay on the cautionary side.

I think it is also important to know that schrodingers equation yields for numerous answers which signifies the different types of orbitals and the uncertainty of electron position.

I also found a hydro flask and left it at the front of the class on the lecture desk on Monday. The hydro flask was light blue if that helps the owner.
