Re: Week 4 HW Problems
I find it helpful to focus on the quantum world homework for now, as we barely started the topic of chemical bonds.

It completely depends on what unit you are converting to/from but you would use a find the conversion for one unit, multiply your number by the conversion fraction, and cancel out the units.

Re: Textbook Readings
Personally, the textbooks readings are only helpful to me when I am stuck on a homework problem. Other than that, the modules, homework problems, and lecture notes help me better.

I have been using those modules for additional help too! Unfortunately, I think that there aren't anymore after these. The only ones online are from the past section and some of this section.

No, for this test all you need to bring is a pen and a SCIENTIFIC calculator. They will provide the test, a periodic table, and list of constants.

Re: Wrong Textbook
I have seen both textbooks and the problems are more or less the same, but I would play it safe and just get the 7th edition to make sure that you are doing the correct homework problems for full credit.

Re: Rusty on High School Chem [ENDORSED]
I'm in a similar situation, I have not taken chemistry since my sophomore year of high school and this is my first year of college. However, I think using ALL of the resources we have available to us is imperative. Professor Lavelle has mentioned that there are 32 hours of assistance each week and y...
