Its also always important to remember that sometimes even if it looks symmetrical, such as with tetrahedrals, you still need to look at the dipole moments to determine polarity.

pi bons are intramolecular forces that resttricts rotation where as hydrogen bonding in an intermolecular force

This might be controversial and I don't think anyone has addressed it yet but I believe hydrogen bonding can only happen with NItrogen, Oxygen, and Fluorine.

It also doesn't matter when your drawing out the configuration as long as you're consistent whether or not you have them spinning down or up every time

you can tell by using the formal charge of an atom or reconfiguring the lewis structure if you do not have enough electrons to fully complete the lewis structure.

I think the most useful way to study is to first complete the modules and then work on the homework problems that go over the questions you encountered throughout the module.
