Which would be the stronger acid HClO or HClO2? I know that you first look at bond length and then anion strength but how would you figure this one out?

I get that for a conjugate acid you add an H and add + to overall charge. But, for part a), would you add the H to the H of CH3 or the H of NH2?

I think we should just know between two molecules with different interactions, we should be able to dictate which molecule will have the higher boiling and melting point. Typically, it will be the molecule with the stronger interactions that will have higher boiling and melting points. I understand...

It should most likely include concepts pertaining to molecular shape and structure as well as those slides regarding dipole-dipole interactions, hydrogen bonds, covalent bonds, and ionic bonds that were covered by Dr. Lavelle on the last slide on the Friday before the midterm exam.
