Yes water is both amphoteric and amphiprotic because it reacts with both acids and bases, as well as donates and accepts protons.

Yes there will always be a conjugate acid and conjugate base so long as there is both an acid and a base.

I'm late at responding to this, but I know for this midterm I told myself I knew all the material before going in. I was able to successfully complete a practice exam prior to the official exam. Do some easy problems and just boost that confidence. Controlling your breaths also helps control jitters.

I'm not completely sure how to find the ionic equation, but I believe you start off by balancing equations and then separating each element with its individual ionic charge and the number of each ion.
