You needed to draw the metal iron, which was Fe connecting to the CN molecule but showing how it connects, like which specific one (C or N) connects and why (due to charges).

I am also confused about this. Also, how can the N atoms give up a lone pair? Wouldn't that make them only have 4 bonds which would result in 4 electrons when they should have 5? Can someone please explain.

Yes exactly, because there's more electrons, there's more protons in the nucleus also so the mass is larger and that makes it a larger molecule. Because it's a larger molecule, the polarizability of it is greater, so there's a higher chance for fluctuability of its electrons around the orbitals so t...

Yes, it'e because it's related to shape and because of the VSEPR you are able to determine if the molecule is nonpolar/ polar overall even if there is dipole moments which this contributes to how the molecule will react (form bonds) with other molecules and how many bonds at that which is where hybr...

Yes, I always like to draw the shape of the electron arrangement then cross of the most reasonable atoms (based on repulsion) and then that is usually how you get T-shape or trigonal pyramidal. It's easier when you have a visual.
