Re: Unexpected Result of using Chemistry Communtiy

Haha I put that number at the top of every paper and at the bottom of every email so it is now burned into my mind.

Re: Post Midterm Blues

I have been there before. I agree with Christina Aguilera's wise words, and that this experience means there is now the opportunity to improve the next time around.

Re: Midterm 2

I am planning on doing more practice problems and making a review sheet that condenses all the main ideas/equations/uses for those equations.

Re: Test Anxiety

Above all I try to remind myself that as long as I try my best, that's all I can do, and I try to eliminate factors that would contribute to being more stressed such as not eating well or drinking enough water or getting enough sleep the night before.

Re: Mid-quarter Check in

I'm enjoying a lot of aspects of online school, such as spending more time with family and the flexibility that comes with it. Less structure has led to my sleep schedule being a work in progress though.

Re: Studying From Home

I find visual signs of my productivity (calendars, lists) on the wall against my desk to be really helpful. I also make a list of the things I want to do after I get some tasks or studying done as an incentive for getting through the work.

Re: Post Midterm Blues

Yeah, I'm a little worried about no partial credit/credit for written work, but luckily it's early in the quarter and we have room to improve!

Re: Test Scored for Midterm 1

My TA said that some incorrect answer choices will lead to partial credit because they show you were going in the right direction but did something specifically wrong.

Re: How do you study?

What has been most helpful for me has been putting all of the assignments due and exams for the entire quarter into a calendar as soon as I get my classes/syllabi. It is then less overwhelming because the road map of when things are due is very clear.

Re: How to relax

I love FaceTiming with my family/friends to catch up and playing group games online, such as skribbl, with them. I also love going on walks and watching Glow Up and the Office on Netflix.
