Re: STP [ENDORSED]
As much as I'm aware it's at 0 C. Funny thing though I always confuse STP, Standard Temperature, and Pressure as STP, the car part sales company. Oh yeah by the way if you ever buy some car parts specifically oil and oil filters STAY AWAY FROM STP it ain't worth it.

Re: Points needed to pass?
From what I am aware, literally full points on the Chem community and maybe less than 90% on the Sapling, 50% on all midterms somewhat, and maybe like 30 points on the final and you have a C- the calculation is raw but honestly its well done,

Re: Final Jitters
Finals suck let's just put that out there. Petition to cancel all finals and just take our word for it. No, but yeah we will all do fine half points on literally everything will give us much more than a C- to pass which isn't a bad thing in the long run.

Ever cook something and just admire the art of what was just there. The entire amalgamation of what existed all it needed was heat to make it into a tasty treat (well it could be tasty assuming you cook well). All things considered, it is a very interesting thing, If anyone would like to cook and al...

Re: Points needed to pass?
I firmly believe that passing this class is entirely possible. with a B if you actually try howver. I calculated that literally getting half the points on every test would get you the C- anything else is just additional. then again making up for the points by just typing your heart out is also a goo...

Re: Studying When You Don't Want to
The issue with studying is that NOBODY likes to do it. It sucks and it takes to much time and its a total waste of it if it doesnt end up helping out in the first place. The way I see it, If you dont like studying you arent alone and the best way to cure it is just to go on chem community and look a...

Re: Culinary Chemistry
I've heard culinary chemistry is a newly used item in the cooking world. Since at the end of the day baking and cooking is basically chemistry from the get-go at the core. I once saw Masterchef where a man used his chemistry background to excel in his cooking abilities. It worked but the flourish wa...

Re: Do alternate fuels create less entropy?
If im being right here entropy is randomness in the universe and if we assume the universe is one giant massive system than yeah alternative fuels might not increase entropy because its the conversion of energy into something else. This energy is converted one way or another so id supposes that it d...

For every acid created there is an equal that will rise to meet it. call it good physics or the force. there exists an acid called flouroantimonic acid that is a million times more powerful than the last previously corrosive acid. This acid when dropped in water literally detonates and shatters the ...

Re: negative signs in enthalpy
Well, a negative sign in enthalpy means that the reaction lets off heat like any fire combustion method. Any positive enthalpy usually refers to the reaction needing more heat than it gave out. Physics and chemistry meet to make thermochemistry that's just how it is.

You gotta find the M of them usually the best way to find it is to follow the same problem equation (x^2)/(a-x)-c=0 the letters are filled in and then solve for x.once that is done then take the +answer and divide it by the original concentration followed by multiple of 100%. Then there is the perce...

Me to honestly the best way is to take your equation (the one that is wrong) and actually go through it number by number comparing it to another one the same equation and problem. single number by number is the only way its tedious but it helped me. Maybe not on the midterm but I mean it works no?

My favorite show is House of Cards. Yeah, terrible way to end it since the actor is committed but hey it doesn't mean he wasn't talented in his acting. One of his quotes is pasted onto my emails. I believe that Lavelle made it so that the exam will be proctored and will take place Friday of the assigned calls time its worth 80 points so it probably has a small set of questions since the class is usually an hour long. However, I've been surprised before so take it with a pinch of salt.
