With a C- you can pass the class and go on to 14C, but with a C- you get a no pass if you choose pass no pass grading.

I have in my notes that after 4s state/orbital is occupied and electrons enter the 3d state, then the 3d state is lower in energy than 4s, but for multi electron atoms after atomic number(z) 20 4s is in a higher state of energy than 3d. correction, your total energy is 3.89x10^-7, so you divide that number by your work funtion.

Hi Maddie,
To find the number of electrons that could be ejected from the metal, divide the total energy of 7.23x10^-7 by the work function. That number will equal the number of photons, since the Js cancel out, and the number of photons is equal to the number of electrons.
