Personally doing textbook problems are the best way to go. As well as creating study groups with some of the peers in the chemistry class.

The best advice I can give is to follow the periodic table. The atomic radius increase as you move alongside the table.

I know you are allowed to use your phone as long as all your workplace is visible. I would talk to your Ta to feel more comfortable.

During the day of the test, take the time to clear your mental health. At this point its either you know it or you don't. It is good to have a clear mind in order to do your best during the test.

C would be 1 and O would be 4. There is no coefficient next to the carbon ,and thats why C would equal 1.

100g is the best way to make sure you get the best simplifying answer for your problem. This method will help you fly by your problems and make it easier to solve.

One thing I would recommend is instead of typing out the notes, to write down over and over information or formulas you might be struggling with. Also forming study groups with peers and getting different perspectives on the material can help.

The midterm is all based on the way your TA wants to format it. I believe you can use. your phone and you computer webcam as long as they can see everything.

Overall you would multiply by two because there are on two in the hydrogen. Once you multiply you will get the atomic mass. The same rule would apply if the hydrogen had a 3,4,5,6... etc.
