To add to what was said above, one way to think about it would be to compare it to everyday objects. If you put two tennis balls (small atom) next to eachother and two basketballs (large atom) next to eachother, the centers (nuclei) of the tennis balls would be much closer in distance to one another...

To add to that, the negative potential energy of bonds supports the fact that energy is required to break bonds. If potential energy was positive, energy would be released when bonds are broken.

The answer above was phenomenal. For me, I just try to keep it organized in my head by remembering that photoelectric involves EJECTING, and atomic spectra involves EXCITING. Then, I remember everything stated above regarding what each term means. Hope this helps you keep it organized!

I believe that they are the same thing, as, by definiton, 1 amu = 1 g/mol. They will be the same for each respective element or compound, but as mentioned before, molar mass (g/mol) is useful for unit conversions. Hope this helps!

In general, when finding stoichiometric coefficients for a reaction, you'll always want to make sure that you have the simplest possible ratio (i.e. 2:1 is simpler than 4:2), while also having all whole numbers. That's the rule of thumb that I remember to help myself when balancing chemical equations!
