Re: E=pv and E=pc
I believe these are a combination of p=mv and E=h/c

Re: Electron Configurations
It is much easier to remember the second option, and since that is the option we use more on sapling I would suggest using that one.

Re: Sapling HW #7
So you will need to compute using E=frequency x wavelength and use that to complete the kinetic energy equation.

My TA said as long as a webcam shows our work that we aren’t accessing other tools it should be fine!

If you have another laptop or phone to use, you can log onto your zoom and use it as a webcam I believe.

I believe you will because I am currently doing the same thing. My TA said as long as I have an external webcam for the zoom during the midterm, I should be fine.

Most of the time you will have to reference the formulas to find what they’re giving you and solve from there!

Re: When are electrons excited vs ejected
An electron is only ejected if it has become too excited for the current level it is in, and can not jumo into a new level.

Re: Does light lose energy the farther it travels?
From what I understand, the farther light travels, the more extensive the wavelength is. I think that this does cause energy to lessen over time, but I have not done enough problems to actually test that.
