Depending on the TA there is some leniency so I would definitely catch up on the ones you missed in an attempt to get the points and then just remain diligent on 5 posts per week for the rest of the quarter.

The total is out of 500 and the breakdown is on the syllabus! As of right now I would use a straight scale to calculate your grade and I heard he adjusts it at the end of the quarter based on the class average.

For right now you can use a straight scale to predict your grade and if the class average is low your grade will only improve at the end of the quarter.

One way to determine this is to draw out the Lewis structure. If the octets are not complete it is an acid.

I find the audio-visual modules very helpful in explaining the topics. I also feel as though doing a lot of practice problems is the most efficient way to apply your knowledge.

While doing every question is definitely not required, it would only benefit you by preparing you for the test. However, if time is an issue I would focus on doing problems on the topics that you struggle on the most.

Personally, I prefer to use the most exact values for calculations and then round based off of sig figs when I reach my solution.

In general, I was told that it is best to go with the least amount of sig figs in the problem. It does however depend on what operations you are using throughout the problem.

Personally, I do not round while making calculations to make my answer as accurate as possible. Then in my answer, I rely on sig figs to determine what place I round to.
