It depends on which way the reaction is going! If you have an initial concentration in the reactants the -x goes there and the +x goes with the product(s).

You can assume x is insignificant when the concentration is less than 1.0x10^-3! This can also be done by using the assumption and calculating for x and if the final x is less than 5% of the initial concentration then you assumed correct.

While doing every question is definitely not required, it would only benefit you by preparing you for the test. However, if time is an issue I would focus on doing problems on the topics that you struggle on the most.

Personally, I prefer to use the most exact values for calculations and then round based off of sig figs when I reach my solution.

In general, I was told that it is best to go with the least amount of sig figs in the problem. It does however depend on what operations you are using throughout the problem.

Personally, I do not round while making calculations to make my answer as accurate as possible. Then in my answer, I rely on sig figs to determine what place I round to.
