I would like to add that when molecules can move around more they can take more positions which is why molecules that are less rigid tend to have more entropy.

I believe that q=mCdeltaT is the specific heat capacity (the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of 1 substance by 1C) while q=CdeltaT is the regular heat capacity. There is also q=nCdeltaT which is the molar heat capacity.

It would depend on the acidity/basicity of the ions that are within said salt. If they are, for example, cations of weak bases, they are expected to form acidic solutions.

Like everyone has stated, it is because H20 is the solvent and thus in excess. This means that it will be on both sides of the reaction resulting in it canceling out during the calculations. However, water is not always left out only when it is the solvent.

As far as I know, the K changes only when the temperature changes. As for the initial concentration, those are not always the equilibrium concentrations so, if I understand the question correctly, the change in concentrations simply leads to the concentrations that will give you K.

Memorizing the strong acids is a good help. Also, knowing that more oxygens usually mean stronger acids as well as higher electronegativity. There's also the idea that the easier it is to break the bond ,A-H, the stronger the acid is.

I try to read the book on my free time and take extra notes on anything I might have found confusing during the lectures. During the weekend, I go over my notes to make sure that important concepts stick. I also work on the problems from the textbook and review the solutions to the sapling problems.

If I remember correctly, the n=4 only comes before 3d for the two elements under the s-block. From there it goes back to n=3 including the 4s that were previously used. However, like how the previous posts says, the n states how many subshells there are.

I am doing the modules and the textbook problems. When doing the textbook problems, I am paying close attention to things that confuse me and going over them.

The De Broglie equation and the speed of light equation may both have v but one signifies frequency and the other signifies velocity which becomes momentum when multiplied with the mass.

It is only for wave models. The amplitude signifies the height of the wave. This determines the intensity of said wave which can be translated as brightness.

I believe you just need to be able to use the equations they give you in context with the questions they ask. As long as you know what they are used for I believe you should be fine. Also the homework problems and readings would be good to look over.

I would assume since we cannot get it in a lab then most likely they will give it to us. Unless, of course, they give the other components with which can calculate it off of.
