Re: Learning ligand names and charges
Hi! Great question. I agree with the others! In Dr. Lavelle's email from today, this was included: "Calculator, this Constants and Equations, this Periodic Table, and additional blank pages are allowed." So I would say to go ahead and learn/memorize. I hope this is helpful! Good luck with ...

I've heard the above mnemonics as well! But I think what is most helpful is to do as many practice problems as possible and review often. I hope this helps! Good luck.

Hi! Great question. I agree with others; these are all really good tips! I think going to as many sessions as possible really helps you get more acquainted with the topics we're learning. Also, I also compile study guides for myself based on the textbook and my Discussion/Lecture Notes while I revie...

Hi! This is a good question. I agree with others in what I've heard - hopefully everything should be fine but Dr. Lavelle isn't sure of how next quarter will look like, as we all are. I hope everything works out - I'm sure you would be able to work something out soon if needed. Good luck!

I haven't heard anything but I would assume they will go with what has been working all quarter, and the final should be held in a similar way to these past 2 midterms! I do know that the final is cumulative whereas the midterms only tested new material. But I have this same question and would love ...

Hi! I took Pre-AP Chemistry my sophomore year and AP Chemistry my junior year of high school, so I feel comfortable with most topics on a general level of understanding, but I've definitely had to brush up on many topics, and even so some material is still new to me.
