Yes it's cumulative! Dr. Lavelle said that it would correspond to how much time we spent on certain outlines (topics), so going over the syllabus would be your best bet.

I would assume no, since I haven't heard Dr. Lavelle mention any extra credit throughout the quarter. I would still suggest doing it if you can since it's helpful for future classes.

I plan to go over my notes then go to review sessions and do a lot of practice with the textbook. Practicing problems on my own has been challenging but I think it's the best way to prepare.

If I don't have too much going on for school, I try to let myself have my own day to unwind since I've usually been studying a lot the days prior. I'll call a friend or two, watch a show/movie, journal, and catch up on sleep. :)

Usually this happens to me if I've been logged into CCLE for too long. When this happens, I just reload the page then log into CCLE again. I don't think you need a VPN to view the lectures, at least not in my experience.

I usually watch shows, talk to friends, play a game, or take a walk outside as a form of relaxing. Anything that I can immerse myself into that isn't school or work related helps me destress and get my energy back up.

Dr. Lavelle has confirmed that we will not need to submit any form of scratch work since the midterm is completely multiple choice. You will need to show your TA your constants/equations and periodic table sheets before starting the test though so they know that they're blank.

I think practice problems will be your best friend, including Sapling, textbook problems, audio-visual module assessments, and UA sessions. Doing this will solidify your understanding of the content conceptually and how to apply it logically. :)
