I would say going over your notes would definitely help! Also, I'm going to review all my sampling homework and textbook problems (which I find very useful). I've never attended a UA session, so I don't know how it works. Just try to ask questions and never be reluctant to ask for help!

So in summary, the final is 180 pts, which means more questions than midterms, and will last 1.5 hour. The format should be pretty similar to midterms: multiple choices, just cumulative. However, I do wonder if people living in other time zones can have an alternative plan.

Don't be stressed out! I think you can make easy points through weekly homework and chem community participation. The best way to boost your grade is definitely to get as many points as possible in your exams. Just work hard and try to do the textbook problems assigned, and you'll be fine.

Just think about it: sp3 means 1 s orbital and 3 p orbitals mixing, and sp2 means 1 s orbital and 2 p orbital mixing. Since the number of orbitals will conserve, you will get 1+3 orbitals for sp3 and 1+2 orbitals for sp2.

One best way to calm down is to be fully prepared! Just do some revisions and some extra questions and build some confidence. Also, having a good sleep or watching some videos can help. I would say having a pet is also a good way to relax when you are stressful and anxious.

I think it's recommended to have an external webcam, but it's okay as long as your TA can see your surroundings through zoom. I think you can use your laptop for the exam and have your phone or tablet on zoom to serve as a webcam. That would be economical and practical!
