Re: midterm 1
I am planning on studying with friends who are also taking chem. Having someone that makes you accountable with your studying/to help you along the way I think will really help me.

Re: Studying From Home
For me what has helped is developing a routine and putting on nice clothes to make myself feel better. I feel I can be more productive at home when I am wearing nice clothes as opposed to sweatpants.

Re: Taking Bio and Chem simultaneously
I am also planning on taking Chem and bio at the same time next quarter. Just wondering has anyone taken Chem 14 B with LS7A? Is chem 14B more challenging than chem 14A?

I make flash cards with all the trends! Drawing them all out in my own writing really helps me learn/study them.

Re: Halloween
I worked and it was really fun to see strangers in costumes dressed up for Halloween. It made it feel more like a normal year. The sunset was also amazing I hope some of you all got to see it.

Thank you for your reply! How would I convert the inverse into regular wavelength in nm?

Use simple algebra to arrange the question to fit what you need! The equation can be found on the formula sheet and other students have posted what it is already above. You got this :)

Yes, c will always be the speed of light. The full length number for c can be found on his equation sheet.

Sapling #8 week2-4
For this question I keep getting it wrong and the Sapling feedback is tell me to find the wavelength by calculating the inverse first? How do I calculate the inverse of 1/λ?

Audio-Visual Focus
Does anyone know if Dr. Lavelle will be posting new "Audio-Visual Focus-Topics, Assessments & Surveys" for the newer topics we have covered? The website stops at Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. I found these modules very helpful when it came to learning and studying new material.

I totally understand! I am glad i'm not the only one who feels this way. I normally think this but end up doing better than I expected. We have to not doubt ourselves so much sometimes...

Re: When to use sig figs
I believe for the midterm, we won't have to worry about sig figs as much because all the answers will be in multiple choice. That being said, I think it is still important to use sig figs throughout the problem.
