I honestly prepared for the worst, so seeing that exam was a huge relief! I found the questions fair and the time allotted was a lot better than 14A's final. I try not too be overconfident since I do worse when I am, but the exam was well-constructed!

I'll be taking physics 5a, bmd res 5ha, and chem 14bl this summer, and will look for local volunteering opportunities! I got my second dose of the COVID vaccine last week, so I feel safe when it comes to going back to volunteering :) I would still be precautious just in case though!

My past TAs always say not to put anything until after they check our papers/we start the test. You can do anything with your sheet after that, so I recommend just writing everything down at the beginning when you start your test, which is still better than forgetting it halfway through the test :) ...

Step ups are recommended for people who want to go through the basics of the topic, while the workshops can be quite more complex, and I honestly found UA worksheet questions more complex than textbook problems. Both are great, but the pace and complexity are different between the two :)

I plan to take Chem 14BL and 14C together while everything's fresh! This is just a preference, but my previous experience of waiting a quarter to take the next class (LS30 series) did some damage to me since I had to relearn everything while learning completely new things at once.

The final exam was a lot harder than the midterms for me last quarter. I found the questions more complex and since there are more questions, the time constraint made it harder. However, doing a lot of practice problems and timing yourself should help you prepare!

Nope, but based on the trend from the previous quarter, it should come out by the end of the week 5, beginning of week 6 at most, even with possible errors, since the first midterm grade came out Thursday after testing week with an error on some tests! :)

To add on, you can also check by dividing x by your concentration, and if you obtain an answer that it's less than 5%, then it's safe to say that x is negligible.

Problems usually mention if there were any temperature changes or even if there weren't since they're a vital part of the scenario since temperature changes K. However, if it wasn't specified, I think it is safe to assume that K does not change, but I doubt you'll encounter a question like that.

I've tried to plan things to do after taking a test, but I usually just end up taking a nap LOL. After a good nap, I catch up on things I usually do but couldn't due to tests such as TV shows.

Midterm 2 will be multiple choice, just like the last midterm, but this time, it'll have more questions, so each question is worth less points compared to the previous midterm! I'm not sure if it'll be harder since that question is kind of subjective!

I recommend The 100 if you're into dystopian shows, One Day at a Time if you're into comedy-drama, and Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, which I would say are two of the best shows out there and you really can't compare them to any show!

What I've doing is I set this certain space as my study area. I don't do anything there but study, so when I go there, I can be productive! Recently, I also joined Discord productivity servers to hold me accountable, so I recommend searching it up and trying it out!

To get the velocity of the electron, use de Broglie's equation (λ = h/mv). Once you get the velocity, you can now use the KE = 1/2mv^2 to find the energy of the electron!

I usually just put a keyword that I know would pop up and where the assignment was from (Sapling, textbook, module etc). For example, if I needed help with a certain Sapling question, I search up "sapling _____" with the _____ being a unique keyword from the question.

I learned that waiting until the end to apply sig figs to your final answer only. If you get a number with a long decimal, you don't really have to copy all of them down, just as long as you have a good amount for your answer in the end to be more accurate!
