A key thing to just remember is that anode is losing electrons and going to cathode which gains electrons. I have seen once the cathode being on the left and the anode on the right, but still the electrons are going from anode to cathode, so as long as you know which is which you'll be fine!

Re: When to add double or triple bonds

Something I like to do to decide to add a triple or double bond is always finding the FC because sometimes, lone pairs is better than double bonds in relation to FC.

I was really into That's 70's show, but then Netflix took it down and I did not have the chance to finish it... rip. A show that I was really into before this was Prison Break. It is a pretty good show!!

Cl will have lower ionization energy because it is more to the right on the periodic table than O

Hey yall! When choosing which resonance structure is least likely to contribute to the overall structure, would it be the Lewis Structure with the most charges? Or does this way of thinking not necessarily work all the time?

Even though I am pretty sure for this class we only need to be comfortable with s,p,d,f-orbitals, there are g,h,i,k,l orbitals and so on. However, I find it interesting that there is no j orbital.

Electronegativity increases going right on the periodic table because the number of protons in the nucleus increases, the electronegativity or attraction will increase. The nucleus brings in the electrons closer together because of the increase in attraction. Electronegativity will then decrease go...
