I think the easiest way is to count one time how many posts you have from fall quarter, and then you can subtract that whenever you look at the number of posts you have total

I would assume an A is the standard 90%, which is 450 points. If you're asking about a 4.0 (A and A+), that's usually cut off at 93% or 465 points. I don't think that the questions on midterms will try to "trick" you with differently rounded answers, so there should be an obvious difference between all the answer choices.

One thing that really helps me is taking a break to go on a short walk. Channeling some of that nervous energy into physical activity helps a lot and being outside for a little bit can give you a boost of endorphins and make you feel a lot better!

For the midterm, I'm studying by looking over all my notes from the lectures, testing my knowledge with the sapling questions, and then using the audio-visual lessons and the textbook problems for extra practice in any areas where I need more work.

Will we be expected to determine the chemical formula for molecules using these stick models on tests? Because for these problems I just googled the formulas for the different molecules.

Just to make sure, this means put the atomic symbols in alphabetical order, not the element names, correct? (e.g. potassium would be "K" for issues of alphabetizing)

Follow up question: for calculations which involve addition or subtraction, is it correct to round the sums/differences to the correct number of sig figs before continuing with calculations? (Because of the different rules for sig figs in cases of addition and subtraction)

I think its generally a good idea to include units throughout your work, because it prevents mistakes with unit conversion and makes dimensional analysis much easier.
