Hey, I just wanted to say that no matter what you decide to do, remember that UCLA doesn't require you to declare a major up until the end of your sophomore year I think. So don't feel pressured to pick a major right now, and try to take diverse classes just to find what you are interested and passi...

I always think of viscosity in terms of water and honey. honey is very thick and isn't easily deformed, which means its particles are more tightly held together, Water is the opposite, which means its intramolecular forces arent as strong.

I don't think H atoms that are bonded to N, O, or F ever have a lone pair. So no, H atoms don't need to have one, only the atom they are attaching to does.

some majors require you to take certain courses as a letter grade, so you should always check the department's rules on whether you can take certain classes as p/np, or if there's a max number of them you can take per quarter.

to add to all the other replies, the reason why some atoms form covalent bonds instead of ionic bonds is that they have similar electronegativity, which means neither of them has a stronger "pull" on the electron, so they just share it.

You just need the v= equation. v being velocity(or speed), m being mass, and being the wavelength. since the wavelength is the same, you just need to change the mass for each particle. make sure you convert the mass to kg before solving it!
