How exactly do we get polarity from the elements in the structure, I understand that the arrows represent the pull of the elements but I'm still struggling to fully grasp it any further than that.

I think it's good to look in the textbook I think I remember someone mentioning that some questions are literally straight from the textbook, and even if they aren't the same they tend to be the same format.

For this question since the lone pair is present in the central atom that means it would be slightly less than 109.5, so it would just be 109.

I 100% feel the same way, and am just trying to get as many possible points to try and pass. If it helps the community post and homework do a lot of work to help me pass. Also don't feel to bad if you have to re-take the class, it's a lot more normal in college than it is in high school.

I always like to watch tv as a background noise while I work so I'll normally go for something predictable like a procedural show like Criminal Minds or NCIS. If I'm not working then I love to watch Derry Girls, it's a really fun show and super short.

I always find that looking over a video on youtube helps, or going through older examples on the homework. I don't know if Lavelle does this, but I know some professors will post older midterms for students to review. Those always help me get an understanding for what the general format is supposed ...

so I was able to figure out the spectral line and the wavelength for n=1 and n=7, but the second part says it's wrong. So for the second one I'd use n=6 and n=7 and use v= (3.29x10^15)((1/6^2)-(1/7^2))
