Eo is unaffected by any sort of multiplication as it is a constant standard for that reduction reaction independent of any coefficients. So if you had to multiply the anode half reaction by 2 to get matching electrons with the cathode half reaction, you do not apply this factor to the standard pote...

When finding standard potentials, if the equation needs to be reversed on the table, do you just flip the sign of Eo?

It represents the frequency of collisions between reactant molecules at standard concentration (which is why it's also called frequency factor). Also, there are many other pre-health options other than being pre-med! I've also considered becoming a PA. I think ls 110 is a class that gives options for potential careers in life sciences other than being a physician.

I'm planning on taking Chem 14C, Psych 100B, and I really wanted to take 14CL but I have to wait and see if some spots open up. I'm also taking LS 110 because all of the other classes I need to take are full.

I actually converted P from bars to atm using the 1 atm = 101.325 bar conversion. I did this because there is no R constant that has atm as the unit for pressure.

It's also helpful to remember that you only need to focus on net changes! Since it is a state function, you don't have to worry about every specific input and output - just make sure you understand what the net change is.

Which practice questions are the most useful for test prep? Sapling? Homework? TA/LA reviews? I know Dr. Lavelle says he takes questions from Sapling and the homework but I made sure to do all of those practice problems and still found the midterm to be confusing.

If K > 10^3, equilibrium strongly favors P and if K<10^-3, equilibrium strongly favors R. Intermediate values (10^-3<K< 10^3) of K don't strongly favor either products or reactants but do slightly favor them.

Inert gases are usually noble gases that typically don't have an effect on the reaction taking place. As Dr. Lavelle said in lecture, adding an inert gas changes the pressure but will not change the concentrations of the reactants and therefore will have no effect on K.
