Harry Potter, of course! I am still a tad bit surprised there are a lot of people who haven't read Harry Potter. Also, i LOVE the DaVinci code series. That is my favorite series of all time literally anything by Dan Brown will blow you away but then again I love mystery!

I think it all depends on the problem you're given. You will just have to adjust your units given what you have and what you need and make that adjustment for each problem!

I personally have not read the textbook but my TA goes over textbook problems in discussion, so I honestly might start skimming and taking selective notes over it. If you have time, it definitely wouldnt be a bad idea to review the textbook!

Definitely do a brief review! Professors do make sure you get the gist of it again before you do assignments and whatnot, they don't just throw you in. Also there are plenty of opportunities for questions not only through chemistry community, but through office hours and discussions as well! So don'...

The Kw value at 25C is 1.0 x 10^-14. It is also the designated value for Kw. Because water is neutral, it can be inferred that the [H3O+] and [OH-] concentration will equate to each other and have the same value, which is where 1.0 x. 10^-7 came from.

Yes! The Kw value will change based off of the temperature, which in turn changes the pH of a solution. Water is considered neutral when the acid and base concentrations are the same, hence pH = 7.

For pure solid and pure liquid, active mass is taken to be unity, i.e., 1 as they remain constant throughout the reaction. In other words, pure liquids and solids are made up of one substance, hence they do not have a concentration because it doesn't change enough.

Yes it can! However, Kc should be used if all of the species in the equation are aqueous, you should be using Kc. When everything in equation is gases, either Kp or Kc can be used.
